Five Star Holiday Décor Kitchener proudly completed a full holiday lighting installation for The Corporation of the City of Mississauga at Celebration Square for the 2025 winter season. This project transformed one of the city’s busiest and most loved public spaces with bright, energy-efficient, and beautifully designed holiday displays.
Five Star Holiday Decor team began work in late October, coordinating all design elements, installation steps, safety measures, and site logistics. The project was completed on schedule by November 19, 2025, in alignment with the City’s holiday event schedule and winter programming. Every component of the installation was executed with precision, care, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and long-term durability.
From Tree Tops to Trellises: What We Installed
Christmas Tree
- Completed safely using a certified boom lift
- Installed lighting on the City’s 30-foot spruce tree
- Used a full tornado wrap technique for even, bright illumination
Market Trellis
- Installed 10 runs of 48-foot Edison-style string lights.
- Arranged the lights in neat, slightly zig-zagged parallel lines to create a warm canopy effect.
- Installation performed using a boom lift for safe access.
Upper & Lower Raised Gardens
- Ladder-based installation to protect the landscaped garden areas.
- Wrapped 30 maple tree trunks with 3–4 sets of white LED lights each.
- Installed 100 hanging light spheres for enhanced visual impact and festive ambience.
Rink Island
- Wrapped one 18-foot pine tree with white LED lights.
- Wrapped 30 surrounding bushes with 2–3 sets of white LED lights each.
- Work completed before ice construction, in close coordination with City staff.
- All installation done using ladders for controlled, safe access.
Outdoor Patio
- Installed four white LED string lights on the outdoor patio.
- Lights were safely secured to the glass walls to create a warm, inviting glow.
City Centre Drive Light Poles
- Installed 16 new red decorative bows on existing light poles.
- Ladder installation ensured precise placement and zero damage to City property.
